Mary married Richard O’BRIEN from a south county. They had five children: Mary, Katherine, Winifred, Ann, and John J. O’Brien, who was born 1852 in Chatham, NY.<br>

: MONAHAN-LENNON<br>: Seeking info on Thomas MONAHAN, born approx. 1800, m Winifred LENNON, Ballycreggan, Co. Roscommon, Ireland. Their children Mary, Bridget, Rose, and Catherine born approx. 1825-35. Mary married Richard O’BRIEN from a south county. They had five children: Mary, Katherine, Winifred, Ann, and John J. O’Brien, who was born 1852 in Chatham, NY.<p><br>My great grandfather, Michael Monahan was born sometime in the 1840's in Aughavas, County Leitrim . His father was also named Michael, but I am not sure where he was from. There are no Monahans living in the area today. However, oral histories suggest that my great-grandfather's family came from Cloone or Mohill (communities which are both located in Leitrim. I believe my GGF had a brother named Owen, who immigrated to Blackpool, England in the mid to late 1900's. Think there is any connection?<p>Dominic Monahan<br>Eugene, Oregon<br>
