searching- harvey coburn (1860's)

Post by tina panico »

i am searching for my gr. grandfather and his family. his name was harvey coburn, and i believe he was married to irene marshall. the story my grandma told me before she died about how five coburn boys married five marshall girls. harvey was one of the five boys.
all of the elders have passed on in my family, and i am suffering from a lack of information. i was told that harvey was a coal miner, and had worked in kentucky for a time, until his death in a coal mining accident. not sure about time frame, the only clue is my gr. grandfather, john l. coburn (harvey's son), was 10 years old at the time, somewhere in the beginning of the 1900's.
no knowledge of where any of us came from prior to these events. i do know that my grandmother on occasion would visit with relatives in missouri. my gr.grandfather's (john l. coburn's) sister's names are:
hattie coburn (married name unknown)
emma coburn (married name unknown)
these are the only sister's he had that i know of.
jeff coburn is the only brother we know of. but john coburn's mother remarried a bodie, after harvey's death.
could someone please help me figure out where we came from?
grandma also said we are related to the actor charles coburn.........
any information you could pass on would be greatly appreciated...... thank you, tina panico
