There's a Gortloughra in Cork and in Kerry. Also called Gort-luachra. There's a Gortletteragh or Gortleitreach in Donegal and Leitrim. Meaning field of the wet hillside. Annagh or Anna or Anny means a marsh or watery place sometimes a cut-out bog. Annaghmacconway is MacConway's wet marsh and three can be found in Armagh, Leitrim and Tyrone. Looks like your people liked damp places.<br>
