I'm trying another direction in an effort to discover <br>the native place of my Neary and Murray ancestors.<p>I'd be pleased to hear from anyone with the following<br>names who went from Roscommon to Birmingham (UK) in or<br>around the 1830's:<p>Neary Murray Moran Kelly McCarthy Cody Herrigan<br>Farley and Cassidy<p>All the above named lived in Green's Village in<br>Birmingham and were godparents to the Neary children<br>between 1835-1847 in Birmingham.<p><p>

Hi Valerie, did your relatives go to Birmingham for work, if so, what kind of work? I'm trying to locate Irish relatives who were in England near end of 185o's/beginning 1860's before immigrating to U.S. and don't know where to look for them in England. Their surnames were GILMARTIN & JUDGE. Mary
