Looking for a possible link between my grandfather,James Tansey from Keadue, Co Roscommon and the Fenian Movement in NY. James was born in 1847;came to the US in 1867, May have been involved in one or two Fenian groups in New York City in the 1870's. Does anyone know if there is a membership list of Fenians, or an indictment list in Ireland or a ship list containing those Fenians who may have been deported from Ireland to the US.
