I am researching my family roots in Drumshanbo, Leitrim, Ireland. The Arthur Payton family left Ireland in 1836 and settled on a homestead near Waterloo, Quebec, in Canada.<br>Their children, born in Ireland, we believe were Mary Ann Payton (February 5,1834-1920), Barry Peyton (about 1835-1886), Isabella Peyton (March 3, 1835-1912)and Robert (1836-1890) Payton.<br>I would very much like to find any record of this family's location before 1836 in the Drumshanbo area and with luck, their ancestors as well.<br>Any help would be most welcome. I have a Family History Centre in my city in Canada but have not had any luck finding them in the Irish Householders List. It seemed as if I might find them in either Drumahaire or Leitrim but I could not find either of those parishes on the microfilms for the 1833 Tithe Applotmet Book.<br>If anyone knows of possible links or leads, I would be very pleased to hear about them.<br>Thanks for your time!<br>
