Looking for links to the Raftery family from Gortaganny, County Roscommon.<br>My grandparents were Luke Raftery (b. about 1870; d. 1921) and Catherine Ryan (b. about 1878; d. 1929).<br>They had seven daughters, all who came to the United States during the 1920s.<p>Luke had three brothers: James and John, who both came to the United States, and Patrick, who is believed to have stayed in Roscommon.<p>Luke's parents were: Patrick Raftery and Bridget Weir.<p>Catherine's parents were: Michael Ryan and Ellen Ryan.
