I am looking for anyone who has information on my<br>grandparents: John THomas Diffley,and/or Bridget Mary<br>Farrell. I believe they came over to Canada in 1926 <br>through Halifax then came west to Alberta. All my <br>grandmother's records and family history information <br>were destroyed by her years ago.<br>Thanks for any help I receive<br>

Hi,<p>Erm, my Great-Grandma married a Farrell (Her great-grandson is THE Andy Farrell who plays rugby league for Wigan and Great Britain).<p>Could you give me some dates or locations. My family have lived in Northern England since 1848.<p>

Well I don't think our families are related but it's hard to say<br>My grandmother was born in Roscommon on Oct20/1901 and I really don't know my<br>grandfather's birthday although I believe it was in 189?. They both came over to <br>Canada in 1926 with a promise of land in Ontario. When they got here it turned out<br>that it was a sham and so they left Ontario and came west to Alberta where they<br>settled. My grandmother left her two sisters in Carrick-on-Shannon, Molly and Catherine,<br>or Sissy as she was know. I hope you are successful in finding out your family info.<p>terry foley
