Am trying to locate info. on a Helen (or Ellen) Sweeney married to a James Higgins c. 1876. There is an Ellen Sweeney listed in the Elphin census of 1910 (a widow). Her daughter, Annie M. Higgins, my grandmother,emigrated to the U.S. in 1897. Records indicate Annie was not born in Elphin. Annie had at least 2 siblings, Katherine and James, Jr. (who emigrated to Eng. after Black-Tan Rev.
