Where are Tawnshoney and Cregyelea, Leitrim?

Post by Scott Summers »

Hello! I am tracking the McGlashan (Macglashan) family. My gggrandmother, Margaret Barclay Macglashan, is said to have died at Tawnshoney on 27 June 1884. A son, John Douglas Macglashan, is said to have been born 25 Feb. 1857 at Cregyeles. (Husband/fath
Charles Macglashan died at Liverpool 21 July 1908.) Does anyone know these Leitrim locations? I cannot find them on maps. Thanks very much.

It is a very small townland situated north of the village of Drumkeeran in the Parish of Killargue and just south of Belhavel Lake. Crevealea is also in this same area near Belhavel Lake.
