I am looking for any information on the John McNiff family from Leitrim. John was born about 1800 and married Ann McKeon. They had two sons that I know of, Peter (born 1828 and Thomas (born 1822). The sons emigrated to US about 1850, married (either before or after emigrating) and raised failies in Massachusetts. There are several other McNiffs listed in The 1870 Mass. census that may be related.
