I'm looking for any information regarding the McDonald family of Roscommon town, Roscommon. My Great-Grandmother, Sarah McDonald would have lived around the second half of the 1800s. I know my grandmother (Sarah's daughter) was born late 1890s to 1900.

My grandmother, Elizabeth Marie Flanagan was the daughter of MalachyFlanagan and Sarah McDonald. Family oral history talks about Sarah McDonald being
from a "fairly well off" family that lived in a nice house up on a hill. She had 12 children who were, in no particular order: Mary, Margaret, Delia,
Sarah, Malachy (the oldest), Thomas, Edward, Patrick (the youngest), Nicholas, John and Mike (and of course, Elizabeth, my grandmother). I know Malachy Jr. supposedly was an excellent soccer player and played competatively but died tragically in a practice
game. Thomas came to the US but returned to Ireland and may have married a woman named Delia - I don't think they had children. My mother tells me that
all of the children got together at one point and pooled their money and dedicated a stained glass window(s) to their mother in their church - I do not
know the name of the church. Mary, Delia, Margaret, Sarah, Nicholas, John, and Mike all came to the US and led their lives.
Thank you
Beth
