<br>: Any information on these two families would be greatly appreciated.<p> I am researching the family of Robert MCGUIRE/MAGUIRE of Lugnafaughery, Killasnet Parish, Co. Leitrim. Robert was born in the late 1700's. Known children were Robert, Thomas, John, Frances, William, Amos, and Mary. I have information on Robert (born circa 1811, immigrated to Pennsylvania, USA), Thomas ( born circa 1810, immigrated to New Orleans, La., USA and then on to San Francisco, Ca.) John ( immigrated to Georgia), Frances ( immigrated to Canada), William (immigrated to New Orleans) and Mary ( stayed in Ireland and married Hugh Ross). Hope there is a connection there. Would be interested in learning about your McGuire research.<br>
