I'm loking for information on starting a basic background on my geaeology.. I know my maternal patriarchies are Hobden (grandfather) and Hilliard (granmother), and my paternal patriarchy is Nugent (believe my grandmother's family to be Sanchez, but not sure) Mother's stock was 3rd gen and 4th gen American, I think.. father's unknown (Nugent's were Louisiana cajun) Father is Marcel Nugent, born to Eunice and Hugo Dupre in Fred (I think) Louisiana. Mother was born Emma Hobden, to Baby Ruth and Sidney, near High Island/Votaw/Galveston area of Texas. Maternal matriarchial line ties to Teal family in Votaw. Other than that, I have nothing to work with. Heraldrics are also something of a curiousity. Any info? Thanks a lot!

Emma was born in Orange. Baby Ruth was a Teal, born in Newton Co.,to Eugene Lester Teal and Emma Hilliard Teal of Farrsville. Sidney Felix Hobden Jr. was born to Sidney Felix Hobden (of London,England) and Nellie Mens Hobden of Orange. More details later. <br>
