Ancestor Philip McGovern b. ca 1800-1812 m. Mary McTiernan, both of Leitrim, had 8 ch. 1833-1855, came to Canada by 1860. If you have McGovern's in Leitrim, I would sure like to hear from you!

Her mother, Mary (McGovern) Prior was from Lietrim, she never emigrated and I don't currently have information about her family. Her mother would have been born in the mid-late 1800's as my grandmother was born in 1902-05. Any information you come across that might shed light in my search would be helpful, I will keep ears open for your search. Thanks!<br>
