Post by Eileen verutti »

To Danny Coolahan.. I also am trying to research my Coolahan roots, and i have a list of many of the Coolahans in the world with addresses.
We are trying to establish our ties with Ireland. All we know is that the first Coolahans to arrive in Sydney were William and mary Coolahan aboard the " Champion " or the " John Renwick " in 1842. They were from Ballinasloe Ireland.
Send me an address and i will mail you a copy of all the coolahan addresses in the world that i have.
my e mail in irriga@aol.com. I was Eileen Coolahan from Perth Western Australia before my marriage. i now live in California.
I also know of the Mary Coolahan who is from Tarbert
To Eileen Verutti and Danny Coolahan,
I am researching various lines in our family and can find very little on my wife's great grandmother, Elizabeth Ellen Coolahan (b. 24 Jan. 1865 in Linn County, Iowa; d. 9 June 1936) She married Martin Luther Waychoff, also of Iowa. The family story is that Elizabeth was related to President James Buchanan. In doing searches there appear to be very few Coolahans in the U.S. so I'm not finding very many leads.
David
