Thank you
Hi, Kevin,
I am interested in your Downey line. A John Downey who once lived in Ballykilcline (see the web site at www.ballykilcline.com) was reportedly in Boston in 1846. Does your Mary Downey have an ancestor named John who came from Roscommon?
Ballykilcline is not far from Jamestown and some parts of Leitrim. People from locations in Ireland often settled near and intermarried with other people from Roscommon. Also, there were Feeneys in townlands very close to Ballykilcline, such as Ballyfeeney in Kilglass Parish.
Mary Lee Dunn

I am waiting for more information from him and will forward all info to you. Talk to you soon...Kevin
