James Rowan O'Beirne, 37th New York Volunteer Infantry.

Does anyone have any information on James Rowan O'Beirne?<br>He was born in Ballaghadereen in 1844, emigrated to New York, and served in the 37th New York Volunteer Infantry, "The Irish Rifles".<br>He died February 18th 1917.

I have found out that her family was also from Ballaghadereen. I don't have much information,but I do know that there are more of the Beirne family in Cincinnati. My great-great grandmother sponsored them. I believe it was Thomas and John or James who came over after the Civil <br>War. thank you.
