What a wonderful site!!!! My great grandfather was from the townland of Cromlin, near Ballinamore. In fact his brother John was the only son to remain there after his brothers came to NYC. John Brady married Maggie O'Hara in 1905. They had nine children from 1906 to 1919. John Brady died in 1925, leaving Maggie a widow with many young children. Our family knows that the two eldest boys Michael Joe and Thomas came to NYC to live with my great grandfather. However there is no trace of what became of Maggie and the rest of the children. Had your father ever mentioned this family? They lived on a farm.
