My name is Suzanne Ionascu. I live in Bucharest, Romania, Europe. <br>I'm searching for the exact birth place (county, village or city in Ireland) of my grandfather, John Scollin, son of Michael Scollin and Susan Bridget Scollin ( maiden surname Mahon ), born around 1861 in Ireland, but lived, married and died in Scotland, Edinburgh ( Portobello ) in 1943. He was a Roman Catholic.<br>John Scollin married Maria Kelly in 1884 in Scotland. They had 9 children: Michael, John, William, James, Anne, Maria, Suzannah (my mother), Ambrose and Jerome.<br>I just know that Michael had 3 sons: Michael Scollin ( deceased ), Alfred Scollin who lives in Largs, Scotland, UK and Ambrose Scollin who lives in Australia. John had 5 children, his eldest son named John lives in South Africa. I also know that Anne married James McNulty and both of them emmigrated in the 1950's in the USA and they had 2 children: Annie McNulty and John McNulty. My mother Suzannah, married in 1923 a Romanian, Victor Budeanu ( my father ).
