Scregg-Drumlion

Post by peter »

I wonder if anybody has researched the townland of Scregg /Drumlion.? It is listed in 1901 census but I have failed to find it in Griffiths. I'm guessing that it is called Drumlion in Griffiths listing. Also the parish of "Killukin" is alternating between "Killukin" and "Killucan" in the various records. Which is the correct one.? I know that one of those spellings refer to the parish near Killcooley but they are misspelled in the Drumlion area. The families I'm interested in are three brothers (McDermott) in the mid 1800's who all lived in Scregg at that time.
Regards,
Peter.
