Hi, I am researching McDrury family of John McDrury (b 1862 Boyle, Co. Roscommon) married Annie Isobella Millier 10th Jan 1912, Lincoln, Canterbury, New Zealand. His parents were Patrick Drury and Mary Byrne. He had siblings Jane Theresa, Patrick, Honor, Catherine (Kate), and Mary. Any information regarding this family would be greatly appreciated.

The 1749 Census of Elphin Diocese for Boyle Civil parish lists Edward Drury (protestant) and John Drury (catholic).

I have persued various sites, including those you mentioned, but hard to prove connections, as numerous families with same names. The additional variations in spelling could be a very useful tip though. I used to visit the LDS library over the years but now use the internet more these days. Good luck with your research and your site, which I also found most interesting.
