The early Mooney's in Roscommon married into the Hanley family and the Harlow family. John: My grandfather was James Mooney, who came over with his father, Thomas, in the 1890's, landing in New York City and settling in the Bronx. Reliable sources tell me they did *not* come through Ellis Island.<p>any connection?
