Hello to all you Roscommon people, if you came from near Carnaska, Strokestown, you may be interested to know of a recent journal publication; the "Carnaska School History Journal" is a complete history of the old and new schools of Carnaska with articles from past pupils and former teachers. Thanks Henry for that wonderful Journal.
I could not put it down and it kept me up late many nights !
It was quite a feat to track down past pupils from 60 years ago and have them recall their memories (enough to fill 144 pages)of attending this little two room country school. I have no idea how you tracked down school photos from as far back as 1927. I am so happy to have this Journal in my possession and I will treasure it forever.
