My g. g. g. grandparents were Thomas O'Rorke and Ann Keefe. Thomas was a mason by trade and born abt 1825.<br>My g. g. grandfather was James O'Rorke born abt 1847 in Eire and went to Scotland in abt 1861 where he married Mary Ann Early. Her parents were Terence Eardly and Mary Gilhooly.<p>My grandfather was Thomas O'Rorke b in Scotland abt 1870 and married Ann Eardly b 1875 in Eire. Ann's parents were Mary Wynn and John Eardly.<br>All of these families came from the Roscommon area some from Keadew in the parish of Kilronan and Lough Allan has been mentioned. I am the grandaughter of John Gilhooly, who was the son of Patrick Gilhooly who came to England from Roscommon where his family owned a farm. My Grandad died in 1985 aged 67, but my nanna Gilhooly has information on the name of the farm - which if you reply to me I will try and get for you. <p>Patrick married Ellen Evans, and they had three children... John (Grandad), Georgina and Mary. <br>John married Irene Hiftle and they had one daughter (Pat b.1950 my mother who married Peter Rodgers and had me, Hayley in 1973 and Paul John in 1975. Georgina married Joseph Burke, and they had one daughter, Anne who has since married Jeremy Hardwick and they have two children - Tom and Catherine. Mary married Peter Gatins and they had two daughters, Anne and Mary. Anne is married to Peter Burdis and they have two daughters - Judith and Christine... Christine is married with three children. Mary is Married to Bill Douglas and has three sons... Andrew, Phillip and Christopher.<p>The family in England have spread from Jarrow in the North East of England to other parts of the country.
