I am looking for family of my GGGF William McGOWAN born abt. 1830 in Rossinver County Leitrim Eire. On William\'s marriage certificate his father (my GGGF) is recorded as John. William joined the 68th Regiment of Light Infantry in 1952 aged 22 years. The 68th became the Durham Light Infantry.

William saw service in Malta, Turkey and Crimea, Ionian Islands, East Indies and New Zealand.

Do these details mean anything to you?
