Looking for the ancestors of a Michael Dolan born about 1795 who married a woman named Mary. I think that she was McManus, but am not sure. He died in 1846 and is buried in Old Caldra cemetery near Elphin. He and his family lived in Bunreagh, Croghan.<br>Any other information would be most welcome<br>Many thanks.<p>

Andy, am not suggesting any direct connection here, but since given names sometimes follow in a predictable sequence, and there are two Michael Dolans in my lineage sequence -- perhaps there may be some familial realtionship. He married Maria Cunningham, in Ireland. Her parents are believed to be Lawrence Cunningham and Ellen or Elizabeth Furey. Maria’s date of birth is unknown.<p>: At least two children born in Ireland to Edward and Maria (Cunningham) Dolan:<br>: 1. Margaret Dolan, born about 1855 in Roscommon (confirmed on death record); she married a Michael Flannigan (or Flanagan), born about 1851 in Ireland; Margaret died in April 1919 and was buried in Cincinnati Ohio (St. Joseph's Cemetery. Michael later remarried to Nora Melany, born about 1835, daughter of Dennis Melany and Bridget Doolen. Michael Flannigan’s parents’ names were James Flannigan and Kate Kelby.<br>: 2. Michael L. Dolan born about September 1862. Died April 1935 in Newport Kentucky. Married Elizabeth Luers in Cincinnati Ohio, January 1884. Michael and Elizabeth gave birth to seven children, including my grandfather, Michael L.
