Debi,
From the 1998 LDS British Isles Vital Records Index CD:
FERGUSON, Alice Birth
ancestor_gender: Female
Birth Date: 26 Sep 1867 Birthplace: Lurganboy, Leit, Ire
Recorded in: Civil Registration for Ireland
Father: Terence FERGUSON
Mother: Alice CLANCY
Source: FHL Number 101156 Dates: 1867-1867 Note: 235.
.
FERGUSEN, Margaret Birth
ancestor_gender: Female
Birth Date: 15 Nov 1869 Birthplace: "Lurganboy, Leit, Ire
Recorded in: Civil Registration for Ireland
Father: Terence FERGUSEN
Mother: Alice CLANCY
Source: FHL Number 101196 Dates: 1869-1869 Note: 235.
.
FERGUSON, Sarah Birth
ancestor_gender: Female
Birth Date: 3 Apr 1871 Birthplace: Lurganboy, Leit, Ire
Recorded in: Civil Registration for Ireland
Father: Terence FERGUSON
Mother: Alice CLANCY
Source: FHL Number 255819 Dates: 1871-1871 Note: 265
.
The birthplace "Lurganboy" above refers to the "Registrar's District". It may not be the place of birth.
If you examine the LDS FHL microfilms listed above they will show the actual townland and the father's occupation ("Note" means the page number in the Civil Birth Register). For location of LDS Family History Libraries see www.familysearch.org/
Once you know the townland you can view the LDS "Change of occupiers of the land" microfilm. It will show the changes from 1857 to c1920.
You may be able to help me.
I am looking for lists of townlands and maps of the following Catholic Parishes in Kilmore Diocese (County Leitrim):
Ballymeehan,
Carrigallen,
Cloonclare,
Drumlease (Dromahair),
Drumreilly Lower,
Drumreilly Upper (Corlough),
Glenade,
Killasnet or Manorhamilton,
Kinlough,
Good luck in your research.
John
Thanks John, I have the girls dates, it was mainly the boys i was searching for and info on their parents.

I wish I could help on the maps and stuff but I am a total novice at this and don't have the time needed to devote to it. If I ever find a copy of my Uncle Tommy's (Thomas Flynn) book, I will have what you need. He wrote a history of Leitrim many years ago so needless to say it is out of print and copies are scarcer then hen's teeth.

Good hunting and Thank You once again.
