I am looking for information on my great great grandparents John and Bridget (Lally) Fallon who first appear in the US in the 1860 and 1865 censuses in Canaan, New York. I suspect that they may have lived in Pennsylvania before that because the death certificate of their first child (Matthew, born c. 1853) lists his place of birth as Pennsylvania. <p>All I know is that John Fallon was born circa 1825 to 1826 in Ireland (no idea where) and Bridget Lally was born in Ireland sometime between 1819 and 1833 depending on the source (age in censuses, at her second marriage, at death, etc.). Remembering her age was not her "strong suit"!<p>I have no idea where in Ireland they were born, but I suspect Roscommon.<p>Any help on this extremely frustrating line would be GREATLY appreciated.<p>Bill Coley<br>Orange, CT<p>
