Mike,
Hope you enjoyed the Casserly reunion in NJ. I have done quite a bit of research on the Casserly family and a number extracts from birth, deaths, etc. register of the Clooneybrenan Casserlys. Also I've compiled a list of Casserlys US immigrants from the Ellis Island database if you or other casserly researchers interested. Let us know how the reunion went.

Noel

: : Casserly
: : I was wondering did anyone have any info on The Casserly name a Roots etc. Al I know well I think i do is that its originated in Fermanagh please e-mail me and tell me all about it and is there a connection between Mac Casarlaigh cos I think its the irsh word for it but im not sure
: Colm
: As a Casserly descendant, my investigations reveal that the Casserly name (Mac Casarlaigh in Irish) has a long association with the Elphin and Rathcroghan districts of Co. Roscommon. The Annals of the Four Masters mention Cumumhan Mac Casarlaigh as one of the Connaught chiefs slain at the Battle of Athenry in 1249.
: Coincidently, the descendants of the Cloonybrennan, Elphin Casserly family are having a reunion in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey this Saturday (23rd June). I am travelling from Dublin to US tomorrow to join the 200 or so other Casserly relatives at the weekend.
: Mike
