Johanna Cahill lived in Thomastown, Ireland for at least 4 years. That is conjecture from ship records that say she live there in 1904 when she arrived in New York as an immigrant. Her brother Michael had traveled to America three times, the first time in April of 1900, from Thomastown. Ship records also say that he lived in Thomastown. From those records I assumed they lived in Thomastown at least 4 years. Johanna was born in Brosna, Ireland, in 1872. She has been quoted as saying she was from Cork, County. When she immigrated to the U.S.A. she married John Ward of Reno, Nevada, he owned a brick laying company, they had two children John and Romietta. Michael Cahill had 3 or 4 children and they lived in California.<p>I am looking for the parents or any records regarding this family. I have names of three sisters Molly, Helen and Kate. Also the father might be named David Cahill. Also again there is a Josephine Cahill, who could be another sister or the wife of Michael Cahill.<p>Thank you for your help,<p>John
