Michael McDonnell/Garrynphort>Cullenolagh 1866

Am trying to trace the family of Michael McDonnell,b about 1837 in Garryphort/Shankill Roscommon.Son of Patrick McDonnell and Anne Fallon. Married Mary McDonnell(daughter of Patrick McDonnell and Bridget Redington) in Culleenolgh in 1866 and stayed in Culleenolagh.Had sons-Thomas,Michael,Patrick and James.Patrick stayed in Culleenolagh and his children are there today. the other boys emigrated to US.Also had 2 daughters Anna(who mayhave died young) and Norah(Honoria). Would like to trace siblings/relatives of Michael or any of his family. any help would be appreciated

Interesting. Michael McDonnell (born approx. 1866) was my Great Grandfather…. But we know next to nothing about him (no UK records anyway). He married Ellen Gray in Renfrew, Scotland 1901 …and subsequently had a Daughter, Mary (my grandmother) that same year. On the marriage record, it listed his parents as Patrick & Anne, both deceased.<br>Are we related?<br>
