I am trying to find information on my great grandfather Thomas Joseph Hayden b. Tipperary Ire. 1871. He along with younger siblings Francis Joseph b. 1873 and Margaret b. 1875, were sent to Canada as orphans in 1883. I found their mothers name when I found my great grandparents marriage registration in Canada, she was Margaret Ellen Quirk. I am also trying to send for great grandfathers birth certificate, have found 5 Thomas' birth registrations for 1871, could anyone please tell me if MOUNTMELLICK, DUBLIN SOUTH, TRIM, MULLINGAR, CARLOW, or even URLINGTON, might be anywhere in or near Cork or Tipperary. If I can pinpoint him, it would be easier to search for birth cert. Please e-mail or reply, thanks.
