Patrick Daly in NYC from Keadue

Post by Niall Corr »

I would appreciate any information regarding Patrick Daly of Keadue, in Kilronan Parish. He was born c1869, but was living at 150 West 64th Street in NYC by March 1925. He was my father's uncle, and paid for his ticket / passage to join him in NY.
I would like to know what happened to Patrick Daly, born in Keadue, Kilronan Parish, son of John Daly & Bridget Loughna in 1869-ish. My grandmother Teresa born 1876 was one of his sisters.
Many thanks, slán go foill
Niall CORR

Did he ever apply for a social security number? You could try the Social security death index which is on line and see if you can find his name. If he remained in NYC you could also contact their office on death and marriage certificates to see if one was issued for him. Data for the US census of 1930 is to be released April 1 and since you have his last known address the census will indicate if he was still living there at the time. Good luck.
Denise
