Ballaghdereen and Frenchpark border the Mayo and Roscommon area. Was your ancestor from any of these places? Did any Mr or Miss Mc Dermottroe(or Mr Mc Dermott-roe ancestor) or Mc Dermott, perhaps originally Mc Dermottroe set foot on this hallowed soil before you ? They all descend from the chieftain Diarmaid Rua 1320AD. I would be interested in hearing from you.
