Where is Doughil?(Nertney family)

My ggrandmother, Anne Nertney is listed in the Ballagh parish register as having come from Doughil when she married ggrandfather Michael Gibbons(from Kilroosky) in 1874. It took me quite some time to decipher the priests handwriting on this one and was happy to find that there is such a place. I can find reference to it, but can't find it on a map. Any help appreciated .<br>James<br>

Any help appreciated .<br>: James<p>Doughil, now spelled Doughill, is now in Kilgefin parish. One of your Nerney's (as now spelled) is in the phonebook in Doughill, Curraghroe, Area Code 04.<br>

Any help appreciated .<br>: James<p>A chara, I returned yesterday from a visit to Doughil. Saw Bernie Joe Nerheny whilst there.He lives across from the houses of John and Bart Fallon. A great aunt of mine Margaret Fallon was Married at Ballagh to Patrick Nerheny. Some of their children came to R. I.Doughill is in the Curraghroe District. My cousins go to the Curraghroe church there or up the Doughil Rd. a bit to Ballagh Church.The Curraghroe church is on the Lanesboro Road from Scamoge on the N5
