Wow!what a motherload of information that I basically just stumbled on.<br> Now I know that my name comes frome Ireland and is part of the O'Gara clan. But, my biggest question is how did my name get changed to its present day version?<br>I used to think that maybe it was changed at ellis island but I have been finding passengers that were using my present variation the only difference is that some have O or Mc at the beginning of the name .If anyone can give me info I would really appreciate it.
