Gateley Family History

[Roy Gateley]

I live just East of Vancouver, Canada. My father was born and raised in Birmingham, England before coming to Canada in 1905. I have not met any relatives on my father's side but through searching the internet, I have tracked down some family. Through this search,I understand that my great, great grandfather (Thomas Gateley) arrived in the Birmingham area from the Roscommon area. I would appreciate any possible help in tracing my family roots.
