Hi I am seeking information on my grandmother and her family from Oran in Roscommon. Maryann MORAN was born to John Moran and Mary Magan (McGunn/McGawn 11 Apr 1867. Maryann was said to have been from Ballydooley, Oran. John was described as a farmer on Maryann birth certificate.<p>Other known children include Bernard 1865, Jane 1869, Honoria 1871 and Kate born c1863. Kate and Maryann emigrated on board the Dacca to Queensland Aus in 1888. Have been unable to trace Kate here in Qld. Would love to hear from anyone who could shed some light on this family for me.
