Newest information.<br>Just found out from an older relative. <br>Patrick's sister Bridget lived in NY not far from Patrick and his brood. Will be searching NY resources for her now. Also Patrick and Bridget were 2 of 10 children. There was definitely a family farm in Roscommon. I'm told it should have passed down to Patrick since he was the oldest, but since he never returned to Ireland it probably went to another sibling. Anyone know what record I should be checking for that kind of information in Roscommon?<br>Also, my Great-grandmother Mary Connelly-Dooner who always said and recorded on legal documents that she was born in Wales, may actually have been born in Ireland too. I'm told she was very smart and was sent to live with an Aunt in Wales. She was raised in Wales, spoke Welsh not Irish, and was a schoolteacher too. I'll be looking more for the Connely connection in Ireland as well.
