Would anyone have information on the family of Anne Foley (my husband's great-grandmother) who married Thomas Gordon about 1860. We're told Anne was born in Breanamore in the Castlerea area of Co. ROscommon about 1839. She married Thomas Gordon who was probably from Kilgarriff (Kilgarve) in the parish of Fairymount (Tibohine) in Co. Roscommon. They lived in Kilgarriff and had 16 children. Anne died in 1885. Her children were:<p>1. Kathleen (b Abt 1862 in Kilgarriff, m. William Clarke; they lived in Castlemore and had 10 children – see below) <p>2. Bridget (m. Laurence O’Hara; they lived in Boyle and had 8 children – see below)<p>3. Michael ((b. 1860, married Sarah Murphy from Sligo; they lived in New Zealand and 5 children)<p>4. Mary (b. 1862, d. 1924)<p>5. Annie (b. 1864)<p>6. Pat (b. 1866, d. Liverpool) <p>7. Elizabeth (m. John McDonnell from Kilmovee, Co. Mayo; they lived in Kilmovee and had 8 children – see below) <p>8. Cormac (married Mary Morahan from Kiltoghert, Carrick-on-Shannon, Co. Leitrim; they lived in Kilgarriff and had 8 children – see below) <p>9. Jane (b. about 1875) <p>10. Teresa (known as Tillie, b. about 1877)<p>11. Martha (died as a child)<p>12. Tom (d. 1946, Liverpool)<p>13. John (d. 1948, California)<p>14. Emma (Sr. Jerome of the Sisters of Charity, d. 1966)<p>15.
