In my research for the Volunteer book, I have come across the Murphy family of St. John's.There were many sons involved in the Movement---Michael (Mick) who emigrated, Hurbert (who was the Captain of the company and an escapee through the Brady tunnel), Thomas, William, Joe and ??? I am looking for exact information about the family members, old photos, Mass cards etc. My husband and I come to Ireland yearly, so if the person did not want to relinquish their prized family pictures, that would be fine. We make copies of them with our digital camera. I was hoping someone reading this would know of a descendant of that family and give me the phone number.
