I have just found out that my great grandfather came from Leitrum. I also have found out that he apparently worked on a passenger boat of some kind that crossed the Shannon River. In 1991 a search was conducted but nothing showed up on his burial sight. Could you please tell me what the catholic parish would have been for Leitrum the town and possibly what catholic cemeteries were near by. This would really help me.
