I am looking for information regarding the family of John W. Brislin, who was born in Roscommon, Ireland in approximately 1845. He came to Rutland, Vermont where he died and his descendants live to this day. His wife was Catherine Connaughton (sometimes spelled Connerton)who was from Killmacktranny, Sligo, Ireland. Any information on their parents, their siblings, where they lived and how they came to America would be appreciated. We suspect that they are related to Patrick Brislin (Breslin) from Ballykilcline.
